Montreal added to it's stockpile of small, skilled forwards with the signing of C/LW Mikael Johansson to a one-year, two-way contract, reportedly worth $1.075 million.
Playing with Farjestad of the Swedish Elite League this year, Johansson took a step back, scoring only 6 goals with 34 points in 49 games. He potted 15 goals in 07-08 and showed some grit (is there grit in the SEL?) with 80 PIM in 55 games. See propaganda video below.
